What can it do?<\/p>\n<div id=\"v-4DtVu7Eq-1\" class=\"video-player\"><iframe title='VideoPress Video Player' aria-label='VideoPress Video Player' width='400' height='300' src='https:\/\/videopress.com\/embed\/4DtVu7Eq?hd=1&amp;cover=1&amp;loop=0&amp;autoPlay=0&amp;permalink=1&amp;muted=0&amp;controls=1&amp;playsinline=0&amp;useAverageColor=0&amp;preloadContent=metadata' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen data-resize-to-parent=\"true\" allow='clipboard-write'><\/iframe><script src='https:\/\/s0.wp.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/video\/assets\/js\/next\/videopress-iframe.js'><\/script><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=YP31r70_QNM&amp;NR\" target=\"_blank\">You can also get the YouTube version here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>First off, let&#8217;s take a look at the toolbar and the functions of each tool: <\/p>\n<p \/> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.psdtop.com\/blog\/wp-content\/images\/018_Tools-Palette\/tools-palette.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">Image of exploded toolbar<\/a> and what each tool does.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p \/> Next, let&#8217;s look at the Type tool and the all of the Blending Options available for making headlines, web link images, and text-based graphics. The blending options can give your text a simple drop shadow, added depth with bevels &amp; embossing, or inner and outer glows. <\/p>\n<p \/> The cloning tool, or rubber stamp, and the healing tool can do wonders for clearing up <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tvpredictions.com\/katiecouric.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">problems with a photo<\/a> &#8211; you can remove a pimple or an entire person! <\/p>\n<p \/> Now, let&#8217;s turn to using Photoshop to creating images from scratch using the available tools and filters. <\/p>\n<p \/> First, let&#8217;s make wood from scratch. The handout has the instructions for completing this project, or you can <a href=\"http:\/\/www.markyville.com\/techtv\/photoshop\/010629_WoodenNamePlate.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">obtain them here online<\/a>. This tutorial will give you a great feel for using layers. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.markyville.com\/techtv\/photoshop\/030527_BulletHoles.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Here are the instructions<\/a>&nbsp;or refer to the handout, and here is what your final image should look somewhat like:<\/p>\n<div class=\"image_block\">\n<div class='p_embed p_image_embed'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Bullet\" height=\"286\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/clintwp.sedck12.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/bullet-scaled500.jpg?resize=400%2C286\" width=\"400\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p> Lastly, we will create a checkered flag waiving in the wind entirely from a blank screen. In this advanced tutorial, we will use a displacement map to create the sense of movement in our image.
