{"id":1612,"date":"2015-01-30T11:54:55","date_gmt":"2015-01-30T18:54:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sedcclint.com\/?p=1612"},"modified":"2015-01-30T11:54:55","modified_gmt":"2015-01-30T18:54:55","slug":"google-in-the-classroom-self-paced-lessons-on-drive-classroom-and-much-more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sedcclint.com\/index.php\/2015\/01\/30\/google-in-the-classroom-self-paced-lessons-on-drive-classroom-and-much-more\/","title":{"rendered":"Google in the Classroom &#8211; Self-Paced Lessons on Drive, Classroom and MUCH More"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>While doing a little research this morning, I stumbled upon this great site that I had not encountered before:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/edu\/training\/get-trained\/\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/www.google.com\/edu\/training\/get-trained\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This resource from the Google for\u00a0Education site has self-paced instructions on how to use and implement about 20 different Google services and tools, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/edu\/training\/get-trained\/drive\/introduction.html\" target=\"_blank\">Drive<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/edu\/training\/get-trained\/docs-suite\/introduction.html\" target=\"_blank\">Docs<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/edu\/training\/get-trained\/classroom\/introduction.html\" target=\"_blank\">Classroom<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/edu\/training\/get-trained\/chrome\/introduction.html\" target=\"_blank\">Chrome<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/edu\/training\/get-trained\/chromebooks\/introduction.html\" target=\"_blank\">Chromebooks<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/edu\/training\/get-trained\/youtube\/introduction.html\" target=\"_blank\">YouTube<\/a>, as well as a module on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/edu\/training\/get-trained\/digital-citizenship\/introduction.html\" target=\"_blank\">Digital Citizenship<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We are using Google Apps for Education and Chromebooks ever increasingly in our region, in Utah, and in the entire country. They are amazing tools, and you can&#8217;t beat the cost.
