• 10:10 am: Painless Password Management, ED 104 (repeats Thursday, 10:10 am)
  • Today I will start you down the road to login and password nirvana by introducing you to a few tools that will help you create, track and remember your passwords for you! These tools will create complex passwords and save them so that you will only need to remember ONE more password for the rest of your life. Take all of those logins and passwords that have been jotted down on the note pads, stuck on sticky notes under your keyboard, or saved in your browser and get them secure!
• 11:20 am: Keep Your Cool With Google Keep, Hunter Conference 112 Yankee Meadows
  • You may not have heard of Google Keep, but you NEED to know about it. Keep is an incredible and easy to use tool for organizing all of the bits of information busy educators tend to collect whenever, wherever, that always seems to get lost. Keep allows you to bring together notes, links, photos, really anything you can grab with your computer, tablet and phone! Beyond gathering and organizing your digital ‘stuff,’ you can share your notes, collaborate with others, set reminders… even drag-n-drop text and photos into your Google Docs! Join me today and make Google Keep an integral part of your daily workflow.

  • Experience the thrill of Breakout EDU! Work as a team to solve puzzles and unlock the box! Be engaged with curriculum and experience the fun! This is a great way to engage students in a problem solving game that ties in with what you’re teaching. You will get to see what it is like to participate and how easy it is to set up your own BreakoutEDU.
• 2:40 pm: Slice and Dice Data Like a Ninja: Advanced Google Forms and Sheets, ED 339 (repeats Thursday at 2:40 pm)
  • You’ve used Google Forms to quickly collect data. The automatic summaries and charts are great, but what’s next? How can you see beyond simple averages and totals to make better decisions and gain true insights? Join me to learn more about some powerful features in Forms and Sheets like data validation, data filters, and pivot tables. We’ll also take a look at some useful add-ons that will allow you to do some amazing things for any classroom.
